This long stranded necklace features a beautiful piece of driftwood gathered from the banks of the River Severn at Fretherne. The pebbles were given to me by a friend who collected them on Towan Beach in Cornwall and Seaham Beach in Durham. The old wooden beads and coral shards are from my sisters collection. The necklace also features a tiny piece of clay pipe given to me by my little niece on one of our walks with the dogs.
The little tubes are recycled cardboard and have been varnished to ensure that they are waterproof. The necklace is threaded on vintage linen thread from my Grandmothers collection and a beautiful red twisted cord. The findings are hand drawn sterling silver.
